Research area
Max Hoepfner joined the Sustainable Process Engineering Lab as a PhD student in April 2024, following a Master’s degree in Process Engineering from ETH Zürich. After completing his Master’s thesis at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, where he focused on novel carbon capture technologies, he is now conducting research on methodologies to streamline life cycle assessment (LCA), specifically for fine chemicals, under the supervision of Prof. Gonzalo Guillén Gosálbez.
