Oskar Jeger Scholarship
For students in the field of organic chemistry and biological chemistry
Dr. René Viterbo (Paris) granted the Oskar Jeger Fonds to ETH Zürich in 2001. Professor em. Duilio Arigoni, a research fellow and friend of René Viterbo increased investment in the fund. The scholarship supports students with a special interest in organic and/or biological chemistry.
The scholarship
is designed for master students and comprises a scholarship of 22‘000 CHF for the master programme. Additionally a tuition fee waiver for the corresponding period is included.
Preconditions
Who may apply? Bachelor students at ETH in the programmes Chemistry (D-CHAB) and Biology (D-BIOL, focus on biological chemistry). A successful basic (1st year) examination and 60 ECTS in the 2nd year of study are crucial. An outstanding interest in organic and biological chemistry respectively must be demonstrated clearly. You must conduct the whole of the master programme at ETH Zürich.

Pivotal for the evaluation is a proven interest in experimental organic/biological chemistry. Additionally, the financial situation of the candidate is considered.
Deadline
Complete applications via email must be handed in until 30 April 2025. The decision will be made approximately two months later.
