A multiscale approach for (bio)chemical production

The research within the ICB focuses on a range of topics of contemporary and scientific importance in the broad area of chemical engineering. These include: chemical aspects of energy, heterogeneous catalysis, polymer reactions, colloid engineering, safety and environmental technology, as well as biotechnology, bioengineering and microfluidics. At an undergraduate level, our chemical engineers follow two years of core chemistry, with bachelor's and master's courses in advanced chemical engineering. We provide all students with the knowledge necessary for the development, design and the operation of industrial processes used in the production and processing of materials.
