L. M. Venanzi Distinguished Lecture 2014

Prof. Dr. Richard Schrock, Department of Chemistry, MIT, Boston
In recognition of his inspiring work in the field of organometallic chemistry

The LAC L. M. Venanzi Distinguished Lecture 2014 was delivered by Prof. Dr. Richard R. Schrock on April 29th and 30th, 2014.

Olefin Metathesis by Mo and W Catalysts

Reduction of Dinitrogen Catalytically to Ammonia with Protons and Electrons

The two lectures gathered a large audience of students, PhDs, Post Docs and Professors, and described the history and the frontier of the two fields.

The LAC would like to thank our guest for his enthusiastic talks and discussions. We are also indebted to KGF, which made this event possible. We are looking forward to our next LAC L. M. Venanzi distinguished lecture 2016.

In the name of the LAC, Christophe Copéret, Chairman
