Académie nationale de Pharmacie honors Jean-Christophe Leroux
The Grand Prix de l`Académie nationale de Pharmacie is awarded to pharmacists under 60 who set an example through the quality of their work and achievements in their professional lives. Now Jean-Christophe Leroux, professor of drug delivery at IPW, has received the award. For more than 20 years, his group has been interested in the development of innovative materials, new therapeutic entities and, more recently, of polymeric "inks", enabling the production of tailored, biodegradable stents.

D-CHAB students receive awards at MaP Symposium.
Over 180 participants joined the MaP Graduate Symposium 2021 – the annual platform to learn and exchange about latest Materials and Processes research at ETH Zurich. The event featured 15 short talks by junior researchers, over 57 posters and the award ceremony. Participants from D-CHAB also joined the symposium: Tommaso Marcato (Shih lab, ICB) won the MERCK 'Pervoskites & LEDs' Poster Award, Julie Probst (deMello lab, ICB) wins the Art of Science Contest with her «The Light in the Channel»
Honoured by European Inventor Award
European Patent Office honours Robert Grass and Wendelin Stark, professors of chemical engineering for their research in DNA encapsulation. Their invention enables the storage of digital data for thousands of years and product tracing throughout supply chains.
