Outline of the Programme

The programme is based on a minimal study time of three semesters. The first semester includes advanced courses and lab work in pharmaceutical sciences and provides a first overview of the pharmaceutical drug development process. In the second semester students train their scientific and interdisciplinary skills and deepen their industry-related knowledge. After seven weeks of theoretical modules, they can choose between a theoretical, a practical and a mixed track. The third semester is dedicated to the master's thesis.

There are many options for adapting the programme to the individual needs and preferences of the students. As a general rule, lectures and seminars are offered either in the autumn or in the spring semester. Practical Methods in Pharmaceutical Sciences, Research Project, Internship, Consolidation Work and Master's Thesis can be started at a given date.

The maximum study time is three years.
