Talent Program in Catalysis and Sustainable Chemistry

Highlighting and promoting emerging talents in catalysis and sustainable chemistry at ETH Zurich by sponsoring and spearheading their PhD research activities through a fellowship program.

PhD students, in the field of catalysis and sustainable chemistry, whose research/doctoral plan has been accepted, and who work on the premise of ETH Zurich under the supervision or co-​supervision of a D-​CHAB professor.

The applicant submits by the advertised deadline (see below) a nomination package (one single pdf-​file), written in English (font 11), with the following information:

1. Cover letter (≤1 Page),
2. Curriculum vitae (≤2 Pages),
3. Research summary with an abstract (≤1 page) and a detailed research outline (≤5 pages),
4. Master/BSc Diploma & grades,
5. Letter of reference from the research advisor.

Submit the package by May 24th, 2024 by e-​mail (see contact section).

The awardees will be selected by a committee (see below) and informed in July. The awardees and past awardees will be invited to the yearly symposium devoted to the Talent program, taking place in autumn, to present their on-going research activities.

The committee consists of several experts in catalysis and sustainable chemistry (professors of ETHZ (D-​CHAB), Clariant as well as other institutions)
